American Aerospace Establishes Presence in Buttonwillow, Kern County, California

Bakersfield, CA [July 20, 2021] American Aerospace Technologies, Inc. (AATI), leader inairborne intelligence for the oil & gas industry, announces a Letter of Intent (LOI) signing with Kern County, California, to develop a Regional Operations Center (ROC) at the Buttonwillow Airport (L62).

Located in Buttonwillow, California, L62 is a non-towered airport currently supporting the general aviation and hobbyist communities. AATI will now begin to develop plans for the anticipated facility, in cooperation with Kern County, to shortly begin staging a permeant presence consisting of Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) and small Unmanned Aircraft System (sUAS) operations to serve AATI’s critical infrastructure customers. The facility willalso be used as the west coast base for the development and test of long endurance UAS in the National Airspace System (NAS).
